On August 26, the 110kV step-up substation works of Dawukou 106.7 MW Distributed Wind Power Project of Ningxia Company was commenced. The total investment of the project is about RMB 496 million. After it is completed and put into operation, its annual on-grid energy output will be about 224 million kWh, which can save about 80,600 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 199,300 tons per year.

Zixing City of Chenzhou, Hunan Province suffered a historical extreme extraordinary rainstorm due to typhoon Gemei from July 26 to 30, and some townships suffered severe damage. Chenzhou Company donated RMB 200,000 to Zixing Charity Federation on August 26 for post-disaster reconstruction of Zixing City. The employees of Chenzhou Company responded positively to extend hands for help, and raised a total of more than RMB 110,000 and living supplies.

Leduhui Charging Station in Dalian constructed by Jinzhou Company was officially put into operation on August 3. This station, with expected annual charging capacity of 940 MWh, is provided with 16 charging terminals in total, and the charging power of single charger head would be up to 240 kW.

On August 20, the use of the coastal port shoreline for the supporting wharf project of Wenzhou Power Plant Phase II was officially approved. The project includes the construction of a 35,000-ton coal unloading berth with an investment of RMB 412 million. The approved coastline length is 245 meters, with a designed annual throughput capacity of 4.95 million tons. Additionally, six workboat berths will be set up on the rear side of the wharf platform.

CR Power's first charging and battery swap station for heavy truck was officially put into operation in Nansha District, Guangzhou on August 16. This charging and battery swap station covers an area of about 2000 m2, and is provided with a 2 MW battery swap station for heavy truck and a set of 480 kW flexible charging pile.

From August 12 to 13, the final of the 20th Shandong Youth Vocational Skills Competition “Talents Strengthening Shandong” Innovation and Efficiency Special Contest was held in Binzhou City, Shandong Province. The project titled "Research and Application of Power Trading Strategy Optimization Based on Spot Market Environment" from Shandong Electricity Sales Company won the silver award.

Hubei Jingshan Phase III 100 MW Wind Power Project of Northwest Hubei Company was approved on August 13. The total investment of the project is about RMB 550 million. After it is completed and put into operation, its annual energy output will be about 208 GWh, which can save about 62,800 tons of standard coal and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 172,000 tons every year.

On August 9, the chimney tube wall structure of the Shitoumei 2×1,000 MW Thermal Power Project, undertaken by Chongqing Energy's Xinjiang branch, was successfully completed. The chimney features a double-tube reinforced concrete sleeve structure, with a suspended double inner cylinder made from composite titanium steel plate. On August 6, the signing and unveiling ceremony for the Guangdong Yunan Photovoltaic Circular Agricultural Economy Sci-Tech Innovation Platform, hosted by Yunfu Company, took place in Yunan County, Guangdong Province. The platform builds upon the model of "solar panels on top, farming and cultivation underneath", and further innovate this approach. The Yunan Runhe Rural Revitalization Project serves as the demonstration project, with a total installed capacity of 300 MW.

No. 6 cooling tower of Puqi Power Plant Phase III constructed by Xianning Company was successfully completed on August 3. This tower is designed with a cast-in-place reinforced concrete thin shell structure, and is featured by a number of innovative measures during construction, including efficient formwork construction method, new high temperature resistant and corrosion resistant materials, and temperature and humidity monitoring.
